Kevin and I took Maya up to Bear Creek on Friday night to go skiing for her first time.....oh yeah, she rocked it!!!!!!   And loves it!  

My little boy is 1

Oh Seamus!  Where do I begin?  You remind me so much of my father.  You are the most laid back person I know.  Nothing really seems to get to you and you are quiet and take it all in.  I would love to know what goes on in that little dome of yours.  Every now and then, I get you in a belly laugh and it makes my day.  You are very patient, very sweet, and very gentle.  You are a sucker for soft, fuzzy blankets, you sleep 13 hours every night, you rarely get sick and even when you are, you take it with a grain of salt.  You adore your big sister and she seems to be the only one that can get you fired up at the drop of a hat. (good fired up).  She swipes your toys and you don't throw a fit.  You just get a new one.  You have no desire to walk because you crawl so darn fast!  You are very gentle with the puppy but not afraid of him.  I love you so much little boy.  I enjoy spending my days with you and watching you grow and learn!  Thank you for a beautiful 1st year as your Mommy!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so special.  I love doing the luminaries every year and this year my new neighbors were really excited to partake in the activity.  Sooo....Maya, Seamus, Jaxx and I set out the bags with the sand and candles and then my neighbors helped light them.  It really was beautiful and just as we finished lighting them, it started to snow.  Absolutely gorgeous.  And it just so happens that my neighbor Brian is a professional photographer so he got some great shots capturing the moment!  During the lighting, Maya was still sleeping but it was nice to have some 1:1 time with my little man as this was his first Christmas Eve and first time doing the luminaries.
