potty time!

We've been having a lot of fun lately.  One of my gf's has a daughter that is 3 weeks younger than Maya and she just had a little boy on Feb 1st, 4 weeks younger than Seamus.  So fun!  Soooo, we've hung out a couple times and had a really good time.

Maya is potty trained and Olivia is working on it so needless to say, she is fascinated that someone else was using her potty!

1 month old....wow, time flies!

Our little man is one month old already.  Actually 5 weeks to be exact.  He has captured our hearts from day 1 and we fall more and more in love with him everyday.  Maya has really taken to him and wants to do everything with him.  He has already played dress up and baby dolls and is constantly being poked, prodded, hugged, kissed, and pushed in his swing....probably a little harder than an infant should be!  Today I was listening to Maya talk to Seamus and my heart just melted.

Maya:  hello little manksi!
Seamus: (just looking at his big sister)
Maya:  You're my best friend Shamee-oso!  I love you! (followed by a kiss)
Seamus:  (grunting as he spit up)
Maya:  mommy! Seamus leaking! yucky!

I love it!  It's amazing the thought process of a 2 year old. 

Some of the best things about Seamus
#1:  HE SLEEPS!  He is such a great sleeper.  Of course he has his moments but he normally sleeps 7-7 1/2 hours at night and a nice 3-4 hour nap in the afternoon ( and it falls right at walsh family nap time...PERFECT!)
#2:  He's nursing!  No pumping for me!  well, at least not a lot of pumping.
#3:  He has taken a bottle so when I go back to work there won't be too much of an adjustment when its Daddy's turn to get up!
#4:  He has a great little smile that just showed up today!
